Meet Lisa

Hi I’m Lisa, I’m a Pilates Instructor, Massage Therapist and mother of two beautiful girls Riley and Mackenzie.

Pilates has been a part of my life for over 20 years. It helped me rehabilitate from multiple back injuries I acquired during my teen years as a gymnast and ever since then having good movement, body awareness and a strong core has allowed me to move from dancing to rugby and now onto Olympic weightlifting as a masters athlete.

I love teaching Pilates and working face to face with clients encouraging and empowering them to improve their body awareness, strength and movement quality. I design my classes to energise and educate, aiming to help clients not only enjoy exercise but to also build a belief and trust in their bodies. This sees them getting the most out of their sport, work and importantly life.

I love learning and I am always attending the latest Pilates or movement courses to improve my knowledge and give my clients the best experience I can.

I believe prehab and preparation is a key element to a successful life whether it be preparing for birth and motherhood, a sporting event or race or even preparing our bodies for menopause. The stronger we are going into it the better the likely outcomes we can achieve.

Professional Experience

Lisa was  fortunate during her previous career  as a physiotherapist working with clients within private practices (NZ and UK), NHS (UK hospital system), sports teams (Rugby, Tennis, Running), British military and Paralympic sport teams (GB womens sitting volleyball), where she took part in the London 2012 Paralympic games

This wealth of knowledge and experience gives her a unique perspective and allows her to adapt and modify any exercise to suit individual client goals and injuries.
